Revelstoke City Hall Urban Design Concept

SPD & Mainstreet Concept Associates were hired to develop an urban design plan and facade design concept for Revelstoke City Hall. Main Street Consultants developed a facade design that re-introduced the pre-existing fire doors and SPD coordinated the new building design and layout with a comprehensive urban design plan. Designed elements included benches, trees, and a bike rack. The main features of the urban design plan is a proposed stormwater infiltration system to act as a pilot project for future streetscape and stormwater treatments, and a sign that provides municipal information on City activities as well as a history of City Hall.
