Fraser Blyth
Urban Designer | Community Planner | Owner
MEDes (Urban Design), BES (Honours Planning)
Fraser works as an urban designer and community planner with Selkirk Planning & Design in Revelstoke, BC. Fraser moved to Revelstoke in 2008 and started a partnership: Endemic Mountain Design. After completing several projects throughout British Columbia, Fraser moved on to start Selkirk Planning & Design in early 2010.
His areas of specialization are in regional-scale planning and site-level planning, with an emphasis on sustainable design. Fraser has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Honours Planning) from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Environmental Design (Urban Design) from the University of Calgary. Two study-abroad terms in Oxford, UK and Barcelona, Spain along with travel have helped shape Fraser’s design ideas. Through SPD Fraser continues to develop a regional vernacular that speaks of a sense of place through its form and design. Since moving to Revelstoke, Fraser has become active in community planning in the BC interior.
