Zoning, Planning & Development Services

Selkirk Planning & Design has experience with many aspects of zoning, planning and development services. SPD has worked extensively on the Revelstoke OCP, including land use descriptions and advising on land use mapping. The organization and further development of the Unified Development Bylaw provides an in-depth knowledge of what is needed for submission to the City, and can advise clients on the advantages of a Form-Based Bylaw. This new form of zoning is a unique approach to zoning that allows communities to visualize what the community could look like in the future. SPD also has experience with Development Permit Applications with the City of Revelstoke, and can advise on what the DP requirements are and can plan long term development plans that will achieve social, cultural, economic, and environmental sustainability.
